Melbourne again proved an excellent host as visitors enjoyed wandering around its streets and houses on the art and architecture trail in September

Seventy-six venues were listed with 130 individual artists and groups, while busk stops, bell ringing, parades, processions and delicious refreshments all helped create a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming as the whole town entered enthusiastically into the event. As well as an opportunity to meet the many highly skilled local artists and see their work, information boards outside historic listed houses gave an interesting insight into the past of this fascinating town. If you missed it, be sure to make a note in your diary for next year.
