Over £5,000 was raised for Rosemere Cancer foundation and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust
Ewood Park in Blackburn was host to a charity ball organised by Mark and Siobhan Neild of Mellor Brook.
An impressive £5,500 was raised from the evening, and it will be shared between Rosemere Cancer foundation and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust’s in-house charity for stroke services at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.
The charities hold a special place for Siobhan, who works as a speech and language therapist for stroke services at RBTH.
170 guests enjoyed entertainment from seven-piece band Groovething, took part in a silent auction, bottle tombola and a raffle. The ball was supported by many local businesses and guests that helped them achieve a brilliant result.
