Mill Dene’s current trainees, Debbie Kings and Laura Muskett, both feature on the programme and are keen lovers of gardens who want to extend their knowledge of horticulture. Mill Dene have a structured programme which lasts one year.

The Countryfile episode concentrated on the start of the scheme which ran throughout the WW1 and continued through WW2 until the present day.

Owners of Mill Dene, Wendy and Barry, have always taken great pleasure in sharing their garden and are delighted to carry on the tradition and train future gardeners.
