Proving that hard work and determination pay off, 23-year-old Cat Brown recently threw a launch event to celebrate the opening of her new Hestercombe health and beauty salon, The Lavender Rooms.
The business was until now run single-handedly in a room in Cat’s parents’ house in Taunton, but the move to Hestercombe - where she has taken over the floor above the historic Coach House - has seen her take on a partner and part-time staff.
Rebecca Pow, prospective Conservative MP for Taunton, cut the ribbon at the Champagne and cupcake reception for more than 50 Lavender Room clients.
