More than £20,000 was raised to stage the North West Pride Awards, which will celebrate the achievements of outstanding and inspirational individuals from across the region. Children, young people, adults and professionals from all backgrounds will be recognised and rewarded for their courage, bravery and remarkable contribution at a special ceremony in November.
The fundraiser to help stage the awards, sponsored by the Pete Marquis contractor and plant hire business and supported by Lancashire Life, was held at Ribby Hall Village, Wrea Green, and match funding boosted the total to £45,000.
