Who knew Wonderland had a train station? Guests aboard the 1930’s style Northern Belle train took a trip down the rabbit hole for a delightful Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
Over eighty attendees enjoyed the Belle’s new afternoon tea themed around Lewis Carroll’s treasured tale, Alice in Wonderland aboard the stationary train at Chester. Alice, Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit welcomed guests on board and there was entertainment from jazz band, The Casablanca Steps and a magician,Lido.
Rainbow coloured finger sandwiches and sweet treats were served alongside glasses of fizz. Part of the Orient Express collection, the Northern Belle is based in the north and travels all year round taking guests on luxurious days out to many destinations around the UK.
