Claire House hosted its annual fund-raising ball at Chester Racecourse

Two teenage boys were the VIP guests at a glamorous charity ball at Chester Racecourse. Harry Devereux-Roberts, 15 , from Irby and Matthew Heesom, 19, from West Derby, were the guests of honour at the Claire House Chester Ball. Over £34,000 was raised at the annual fundraising dinner, which was attended by 250 people. The money will go towards providing care and support for families of seriously ill children. The boys’ attendance was made possible thanks to the event’s main sponsor, Click Consult, and retailers Liverpool ONE who sponsored the boys’ table.

Ian and Debbie Devereux-Roberts, Harry’s parents, said: ‘Harry had such a wonderful evening. Claire House and everyone who supports the charity make it possible for Harry and his friends to experience all the things teenage boys should experience every now and then, like getting dressed up in a tux and hitting the dancefloor.’
