Oxfordshire-based Allen Associates announces record business growth

Oxford-based recruitment consultancy, Allen Associates, has announced a record year of growth together with a number of ‘firsts’.

Allen Associates, which was the first recruitment consultancy in Oxfordshire to achieve Investors in People ‘Gold’ status for its approach to employee development and communication, has grown significantly in 2014, both in terms of revenue and size.

“The business has grown steadily over the last couple of years – and this year we are on track to set new records – thanks to the continuing hard work of our team and the close relationships we’ve developed with our candidates and clients,” said Managing Director, Kate Allen, who founded Allen Associates in 1998 with her husband Rob. “We now employ a team of 16 – the largest in our history – and have seen consistent growth in revenues. Our permanent division has done particularly well, due to the upturn in the employment market and the loyalty of our clients who continue to want to work with us on an ever-increasing range of roles. “We recently enrolled in Oxford Innovation’s Growth Accelerator programme which has proved invaluable in terms of helping us to restructure the business to accommodate our growth and ensure our strategies are working effectively.

“We have also invested in new technology, installing a state-of-the-art customer relationship management system to further improve our communications with clients and candidates. “In October, we were delighted to launch what we believe to be Oxfordshire’s first salary survey in response to repeated requests from businesses for robust local data on salaries and benefits. We look forward to sharing the results with the business community once the report has been published. “This has been a great year for Allen Associates and our clients, many of whom are also expanding rapidly and looking to the local market to fulfil their recruitment needs. This is particularly true for roles in business support functions, such as Administration, HR and Marketing, which are the areas we specialise in.”
