Oxford-based recruitment consultancy, Allen Associates, has launched a county-wide salary survey to provide employers with invaluable benchmarking information on remuneration and benefits being offered for roles locally.

The survey, which is now live and runs until the end of October, is believed to be the first of its kind in Oxfordshire.

“Salary surveys are undertaken on a national basis and occasionally, we see them in some parts of the UK, but this is the first time we know of, that one has been produced focused solely on Oxfordshire,” said Kate Allen, Managing Director at Allen Associates. “For years, employers and HR professionals have been asking us for robust local salary data which just hasn’t been available, except in an anecdotal way. We decided it was time to do something about it so we engaged the services of an independent consultant with vast experience of running confidential salary surveys, analysing the data and producing reports.

“We want to spread the word and ensure Oxfordshire employers and HR decision-makers have the opportunity to contribute their information. We are confident the survey will be extremely well received, particularly as we are offering every respondent a free copy of the report when it is published. We have invested heavily in this process because we see a genuine need for a professionally-produced salary survey which reflects the current Oxfordshire employment market.”

Allen Associates’ survey looks specifically at salaries and benefits for roles at all levels within the primary business support functions, including HR, marketing, administration and finance. The report is due to be published in November.

Oxfordshire employers and HR decision-makers interested in completing the salary survey and receiving a free copy of the report should contact Kate Allen on kate@allen-associates.co.uk
