It was a black-tie affair at the Crow Wood Hotel and Spa Resort in Burnley.

The picturesque evening was held in aid of Pendleside Hospice, which is a vital local service that helps enhance the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers. The spectacular venue played host to over 360 guests and local dignitaries, who enjoyed a Prosecco reception accompanied by delicious canapés, followed by a gourmet four-course dinner.

The event raised over £30,000 and Pendleside Hospice spokesperson Christina Cope, said: 'We are very grateful to Andrew Brown and the team at Crow Wood Hotel for organising this spectacular charity ball. The money raised will make a real difference to those living in our community who have a life-limiting illness.'
