The evening raised over £3,000 for the charity

It was a lovely setting at the Marriott hotel as Permicoat Ltd held a charity ball and auction in aid of the baby beat appeal at the neonatal unit in Royal Preston Hospital.

Guests were greeted with a drinks reception and magic as Andrew Green, a magician and illusionist entertained them. After a delicious three-course meal, an opening speech from lead consultant Sean Hughes, an auction took place. Guests were able to bid on incredible items such as signed goalkeeper gloves by Chelsea goalkeeper Willie Caballero, and tickets to Woodlands Spa along with many others.

The evening, organised by James Mattison and others raised a fantastic £3,274 for the charity and the evening ended with guests enjoying a performance by The Secret Spitfires.
