More than 200 businesswomen from across the North West celebrated Pink Link’s 10th anniversary at the Summer Regional Event.

Entrepreneur Coral Horn created Pink Link a decade ago when she decided that it was time to change the face of networking in the region. She said 'Some of our members have been with us since that first meeting. We had to hold our tenth birthday celebrations in Blackpool. It's the home of Pink Link and the Enterprise Vision Awards, we're proud of our Lancashire roots.' The day was an opportunity to network and to form collaborations but there were also chances to mix business with pleasure by taking part in painting classes, a cocktail masterclass, mini make-overs and massages.

The audience also heard from speakers including BAFTA winner Lucy West, the head of news at Granada Reports, who shared her experiences about an industry that has a reputation of being difficult for women to succeed at the top. And nine-year-old Molly Rose, Britain's youngest female entrepreneur, shared her plans to conquer the UK's soft drinks market. Her lemonade with its hint of vanilla was a hit on the hot summer's day.
