Members and staff from Preston Grasshopper Rugby Club scored a try for charity when they donned sparkly gowns and dancing pumps to stage their own version of Strictly.
More than £3,000 was raised for the Rock FM Cash for Kids charity after experts from two schools, Dancers Preston and Dancers on Pointe, worked with a wide range of people from players to kitchen and bar staff.
They trained them two hours a week over ten weeks to compete in a competition, which has raised almost £20,000 for various charities over the last ten years. The evening started with a dance routine from the professionals before each competitor did an individual dance in front of a panel of judges.
