The iconic St George’s Hall in Liverpool was the venue for the annual Prince’s Trust Diamond Ball. Guests enjoyed a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception followed by a four course meal.

Performances during the evening featured popular swing act Dominic Halpin and The Honey Bs, plus local singer songwriter Scott Chapman. This year, an auction at the black tie event raised £137,000 for the youth charity, money which will go toward helping disadvantaged young people across the region into work, training or education. Prizes included a week’s safari in Africa and a chance to name your own Eddie Stobbart truck.

Steve Sealey, The Prince’s Trust ambassador for regional development and founder of The Diamond Ball, said: ‘We’re thrilled that the event has raised more funds than ever before. Fundraising activities like these are crucial to help young people get their lives back on track and without such generous support, The Trust would not be able to carry out the vital work it does.’
