TELEVISION stars joined around 270 guests to raise £50,000 at a Purely Come Dancing-themed charity ball held by north Lancashire based Pure Leisure Group.
Les Dennis, Sue Cleaver and Debbie Rush – otherwise known as Coronation Street’s Michael, Eileen and Anna – made a star appearance at the glitzy gathering in the grounds of Pure Leisure Group owner John Morphet’s farm near Milnthorpe.
It was the 14th fundraiser to be held by Pure Leisure Group, which owns luxury lodge developments and caravan parks as well as the exclusive Royal Westmoreland estate in Barbados.
The money raised goes to Cash for Kids, an organisation that works with sick, under-privileged and disadvantaged children at a local level. w
