HRH’s representative the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs MBE, K.St.J. presented Home Instead Senior Care with the Queen’s Award for innovation at a prestigious ceremony at Macclesfield’s stunning Adlington Hall.

Martin Jones, Managing Director of the homecare company which specialises in dignified quality care and companionship for older people, received an historic scroll and commemorative crystal bowl on the brand’s behalf.

The Queen’s Award is the highest accolade available to UK businesses, and was awarded to Home Instead in recognition of the relationship-led care model it brought to the UK in 2005. It provides 5 million hours of quality care and companionship to older people a year.

Members of its Warrington-based National Office team, joined elderly clients, CAREGivers, office owners from across the county and the UK to mark the momentous occasion, captured in a short film for posterity.
