More than £30,000 was raised when Racing Welfare held a charity raceday at Haydock Park Racecourse during the Betfair Chase weekend. The aim was to raise funds and awareness of its work for people in the sport.
Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception followed by a four course lunch before the racing. An auction and raffle was held with the proceeds going to Racing Welfare, which provides a lifeline to those in need.
