Taking place on the 27th September 2014, this is a black tie ball with an Indian twist and set in the stunning Tournerbury Woods Estate. The event is designed to celebrate the end of the summer in style at our ‘event of the year’, whilst also raising funds for local charity The Rainbow Centre.
The host venue, Tournerbury Woods Estate, is owned by Alice and Chris Snell whose son Felix has benefited from the hard work of the Rainbow Centre’s staff. Felix’s Mum Alice has long been an advocate of the centre, and said “What The Rainbow Centre gives Felix is huge. He enjoys attending and tells me about his day and the other children. The routine and physical activities have undoubtedly had a huge impact on his development this year”.
The ball will be taking place is the large ballroom space normally used for weddings, providing a spectacular backdrop for the evening of entertainment.
The event kicks off with a welcome champagne reception followed by a three course fusion style menu. Guest will enjoy excellent live music and entertainment, plus fundraising games with guaranteed prizes, a luxury tombola and charity auction. Tables of 10 are priced at £700.
The Rainbow Centre for Neurological Enablement was founded in 1990 and uses a unique form of positive learning which develops pathways to undamaged parts of the brain. This system of ‘Conductive Education’ approaches motor disability from an educational perspective and encourages individuals to master their environment rather than adapting to it.
