More than £26,000 was raised for the local charity
More than £26,000 was raised for the Rainbow House charity when supporters donned their finery for a Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day.
After enjoying a glass of bubbly, the guests sat down to a two course lunch with live entertainment from singer Michael Cosgrove. During the event, supported by Unique Ladies’ Network and Windoworld, Nicola Morris was the winner of a beautiful diamond ring donated by HSBC.
Ben Blackman, chief executive, of the charity, said: ‘There were lots of winners but especially Rainbow House where the funds raised with help us provide exceptional services for children and young people with neurological and physical disabilities.’
