A fundraising event for Age Concern Central Lancashire saw 87 women from across the area donate a total of 125 handbags and 221 pieces of jewellery and accessories, raising £817 for the charity. Held at Mundo Tapas at the Guild Hall, Preston, the night was organised by RBS employees, Sadie Sharples and Mandy Coupe.
Sadie Sharples, relationship manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland, said: ‘When Mandy and I had the idea of holding a ladies’ night in aid of our local Age Concern charity we knew that we wanted to do something a little different. I’d like to thank everyone involved for their contributions.’
