Consisting of just 13 luxury holiday lodges in a gated community, it’s hardly surprising that the development has been met with great success and in just under a year over half of the development has sold.

The Pines has three spectacular show homes at different price ranges available for purchase, working with the best manufacturers to ensure that each and every lodge here is of the highest standard. There are two plots remaining for bespoke lodges, potential owners can spec their lodge to their exact preference. Kitchens, bathrooms, furnishings everything from the floor to the ceiling can be completely bespoke to your taste. The development is a gated community with all lodges provided with a large decking area to enjoy outside dining or just relax.

The village of Runswick Bay boasts two excellent pubs serving fantastic food and a further restaurant based in the cliff top hotel. The beach itself is a haven for holiday makers whether they are rock pooling, fossil searching or just making the most of the sand and the sea. Search for ammonites or even be lucky enough to find something much rarer and bigger! Many species and even new sub species have been discovered in the ancient rock on the beach and in the surrounding cliffs.

An advantage to a holiday lodge at The Pines is that you can bring all the family along, and it’s dog friendly all year round, as is the beach. All this is just 2-10 minutes walk from the gate.

The Cleveland Walkway runs through Runswick Bay providing an excellent coastal walk with breathtaking views. The nearby villages of Hinderwell and Staithes are full of amenities. A hairdressers, butchers, cafe, fish and chip shop and a well stocked local shop are all within a couple of miles.

Staithes is also the home of the famous Captain Cook and a wander through the cobbles streets visiting the shops, pubs and harbour is a must! Staithes can also be walked to along the Cleveland way.

The world famous town of Whitby is just a short car ride away. Full of history it’s unsurprising that’s it’s one of Britain’s most well known holiday towns. Whether you are visiting the beach to ride the donkeys, climbing the 199 steps to visit the Abbey, exploring the cobbled streets or dining in any one of Whitby’s famous restaurants it’s always a pleasure to visit.

After a long day either at the beach or visiting one of the nearby towns or villages it’s back to your own lodge, a home away from home available to you or your family or friends whenever you desire.
