Following a very successful concert at Hannahs at Seale Hayne last summer the Teignbridge and Torbay Link of Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline is organising another concert.
On 27 June Hannahs at Seale Hayne will play host to an inspiring concert which includes the River City Chorus, St Michaels school choir from Kingsteighton and the visiting children from Belarus.
River City is a ladies chorus that has been entertaining West Country audiences in Barbershop singing for over 20 years. Barbershop is an entertaining and talented style of presentation that depends upon close harmony singing in four parts. River City have a repertoire of ballads and up-tempo songs from the top lyricists of the 20th and 21st century. The chorus will be competing in the National Ladies Barbershop Competitions this year.
The programme offers a contrast of style with the professionalism and talent of River City and the delightful charm of the children’s songs. Adults £9.00 children under 16 £4.50.
