Tall Stories’ musical adaptation of the best-selling book by Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson MBE and Axel Scheffler, takes audiences aboard a magic broom for an family-friendly adventure.

Room on the Broom is aimed at ages 3 – 8 years old and could be an ideal introduction to theatre for pre and primary school children.

Join a witch and her cat as they fly happily along on their broomstick – until a Stormy wind blows the witch’s hat, bow and wand away into the night! With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and – CRACK! – it snaps in two! When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?

Brought to the stage by internationally acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories, the creators of The Gruffalo stage adaptation. Room on the Broom is presented by Kenny Wax and Nick Brooke, directed by Olivia Jacobs, alongside Toby Mitchell as Creative Producer. Starring Morag Cross, Emma MacLennan, David Garrud and Sam Donovan.
