Rossendale Hospice’s 19th annual ball, organised by the special events team, celebrated in style to mark the 30 year milestone of providing hospice care. It raised an impressive £27,000.

Almost 200 guests were greeted at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester, with a toast given by Alan Keegan, the voice of Old Trafford, who asked the guests to toast the anniversary.

Throughout the night guests were entertained by magician Tristan Malgeri, dancers from Dance Like No one’s Watching and The Valley Hoopers who gave a mesmerising show.

The icing on the cake was an auction prize of a fantastic black and gold leopard by Molly’s Creative Cakes which raised a show-stopping £1,000 and was filmed by Channel 4 series, The Extreme Cake Makers.
