The sun was shining as 100 guests gathered to support a sold-out Golf Day at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in aid of the UK’s leading youth charity, The Prince’s Trust.
The afternoon raised over £51,000, which will go directly towards helping young people across the North West to live, learn and earn.
Guests could also take part in an auction with prizes including a Private Tour of Highgrove Gardens, a holiday to Mauritius and a VIP trip to The Races. Paul Gilbert, Chair of The Prince's Trust Golf Committee, said: 'We are immensely grateful to Royal Birkdale for letting us hold the event and to all our supporters and sponsors for continuing to make this special event a huge success. Our aim is to create a positive future for young people, their families and the local community.'
