The Royal Cheshire Show celebrated their new royal status with a classy black tie gala dinner, held at Chester Racecourse.
Attended by 330 people, the event started with a drinks reception in the pavillion where guests entered via a red carpet and to the tune of Pipe Major James Gray of the Scots Guards Association. A three course meal followed, where the top table were piped into the room to great applause.
Tony Garnett, the chairman of Cheshire Agricultural Society, said: ‘It was a hugely successful evening and we’ve had amazing feedback on the atmosphere of the event. It was a great way to celebrate a wonderful year and the royal status.’
