Generous supporters attended a charity night and auction to raise funds for the stroke unit at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
The team at Ward 23 of the RLI organised the event which was staged at the Longlands Hotel, Carnforth, to help raise money for equipment. There was live entertainment, an auction and good food for guests.
Judith Read, Morecambe Bay charity coordinator, said: ‘On behalf of the trust, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the staff of Ward 23 for all their hard work that has gone into organising this event. All charity nights, however big or small, really do make a difference.’
