More than 200 guests attended the Greater Manchester branch of the Royal Society of St. George’s 120th anniversary celebration. Held at The Monastery, Gorton, the event was attended by the Duke of Gloucester, who conveyed greetings on behalf of the president and members of the New York branch of the society of which he is Patron.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the Cloisters before a three-course dinner and a speech from guest speaker, Sir David Trippier. An auction hosted by Sir Patrick Cheyne raised money for the continued restoration of the Monastery and various charity work supported by the society.
