The team behind a family-run Ribble Valley jewellers proved they are diamonds after raising an astonishing £40,033 for East Lancashire Hospice.
Sarah Layton Jewellers, of King Street, Whalley, hosted a glittering ball at Stanley House Hotel and auctioned off unique pieces.
The £100 a head ball was attended by 160 people, many of them customers. Catherine Leech, community fundraiser at the hospice, said: ‘They have raised an amazing amount and have proved that they are real diamonds.
They really did themselves proud and we are very grateful for all the hard work and the generosity of all involved.’
