Laughter, chatter and smiles filled the Penina Suite at Shaw Hill Golf Resort and Spa, Whittle-le-Woods, at a recent fundraiser for Cancer Research UK.
Just over £5,100 was raised for the national charity by 149 adults and 49 children who attended the event. Children enjoyed magic from entertainer Andy Green, while adults were kept dancing until midnight by band, Sweet Sensation.
The event was organised by Sarah Krige, with the help of Ann Tomlinson. Sarah said: I was blown away with people’s generosity. So many people gave so gladly and we thank them all.’
