Accountancy and investment management group, Smith & Williamson, hosted a party for over 80 guests to launch its new Cheltenham based private client tax team. Smith & Williamson acquired a four-strong team of private tax specialists with particular experience in advising internationally mobile families, including ‘non domiciles’, on their tax, trusts and pension arrangements.
The team, which is based at Festival House in Jessop Avenue and led by partner Louise Somerset together with associate director Krista Woodman and tax professionals Daniel Gadd and Emma Robinson, have joined Smith & Williamson from RBC’s Wealth Planning Division.The launch party took place in September to welcome the team to Smith & Williamson and introduce colleagues from the firm’s Birmingham, Bristol, London and Salisbury offices to clients and professional contacts in Cheltenham, who included lawyers, bankers, trustees, financial advisers and land agents.
