Actor Tom Sturridge took time out from filming Far from the Madding Crowd to pop along to this year’s Eat Dorset Food Fair. Tom, along with fiancée Sienna Miller, enjoyed browsing the stalls - more than 60 in total - at this annual celebration of local food. Held in the stunning grounds of Parnham House, near Beaminster, treats ranged from oak-smoked grouse to The Tickled Pig’s luscious ‘hangi’ lamb, cooked in a buried fire pit. Chefs Mark Hix, Mat Follas and Gideon Hitchin cooked in the demo kitchen, while Lesley Waters’ pop-up cookery school gave visitors a chance to roll up their sleeves have a go.
