Somersault, 17-21 July. Somersault is a five-day summer camp of music, adventure & outdoor living in the heart of the South West, located at the beautiful Castle Hill estate just half an hour from both the North Devon coast and Exmoor.

New Music Stage announced in association with Jack Wills, an exclusive festival partnership.

Rae Morris, Lewis Watson & We Were Evergreen will headline the Jack Wills Music Stage at Somersault 2014.

The Jack Wills New Music Stage has just been added to the bill, giving new bands a brilliant opportunity to play to a festival crowd, and providing a fantastic addition of new music to the line up for Somersault attendees. The stage will be hosted by Jack Wills, an official partner of the festival (an exclusive partnership to Somersault) and will be housed in a striped big top – reminiscent of the famous Jack Wills stripes. The tent will be decorated in Jack Wills’ ubiquitous style of the old mixed with the new – hay bales, vintage chandeliers, lampshades and giant neon windmills – all helping to create the perfect atmosphere for the bands and audience alike. Further content and activities are still to be announced by Jack Wills.

Blackpool’s Rae Morris will headline the Friday evening, 19 year old Rae features on the new Clean Bandit album out in May on the track “Up Again” – her unique voice is set to be instantly recognisable very soon. Saturday’s headliner on the Jack Wills New Music Stage will be the increasingly popular Lewis Watson. In 2012 he self released his debut EP, “It’s Got Four Sad Songs On It BTW” – on day of release it topped the iTunes singer-songwriter, outselling the likes of Adele, Madonna and Ed Sheeran in the process. All five of his EPs to date have hit the Top 10 at iTunes, each building on the sales of the previous release. His debut album, “The Morning” will be released this summer. Sunday will see We Were Evergreen take to the New Music Stage who, with their impressive live reputation, will be one not to miss over the weekend. Late night DJ sets will round off each night – DJs to be announced very soon.

Communion Music – the label and promotions company founded by Mumford and Sons’ Ben Lovett, Bear’s Den’s Kev Jones and producer Ian Grimble, and home to headliner Ben Howard – will host Somersault’s second stage. Sat beside the river running runs through the Somersault site, it will include a canvas-tented whiskey and ale bar, a dining area serving ribs and smoked meats, a record store and more. The line up includes Marcus Foster, Dan Croll and Bear’s Den headlining Friday, Saturday, Sunday respectively plus a whole host of great acts.

Longtable Feasts will form the centre piece of the food offering at Somersault, available at dinner time on Thursday and for lunch and dinner Friday to Sunday (feasts will be ticketed separately). The Long Table Feasts will be four courses and provided by a different restaurant each day. Fifteen Cornwall, Nathan Outlaw, Pitt Cue Co. and The Ethicurean will be cooking up a storm on the Somersault campfire each bringing their own unique flavour to North Devon.

Fast becoming comedy programming legends, the brilliant Underbelly has been confirmed as the official comedy and cabaret programmers for the long weekend. Underbelly are the award winning producers of Udderbelly Festival and London Wonderground in London and are, of course, well known as one of the major venues at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Bristol’s finest party organisers will host the Late Night Forest Parties that will take revellers through the night long after the main stage performances have finished. Team Love are the people behind the ever popular Love Saves The Day in Bristol, the booking team for Garden Festival in Croatia and are the team behind The Wow Stage at Glastonbury.

Somersault’s charity partner is Surfers Against Sewage.

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is an environmental charity protecting the UK’s oceans, waves and beaches for all to enjoy safely and sustainably, via community action, campaigning, volunteering, conservation, education and scientific research. Established in 1990 by a group of passionate, local surfers and beach lovers in the picturesque north coast villages of St Agnes and Porthtowan, the organisation swiftly created a national movement calling for improved water quality UK-wide.
