More than 130 people attended Soroptimist International Wigan’s annual spring charity ball.
Held at the DW Stadium. The ‘Vintage Glamour and Glitz Ball’ themed event raised over £3,000 to support local, national and international charities including the Alzheimer’s Society, Wigan and Leigh Hospice, the Brick and DIAS. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, four course meal and entertainment by Local Street Level band.
Angela Holmes, president of Soroptimist International Wigan, said: ‘Thank you to the local companies that donated auction prizes and a particular thank you to successful bidders including Brian Halliwell of R.Banks and Son, who were extremely generous and first time attendees!’
