Entering on a red carpet, 120 glamorous guests attended the Sparkle Ball at the Leyland Hotel, Preston.
The fundraising event for St John’s Hospice, Lancaster, was organised by Lesley Lewis, whose late father was at the hospice.
The sparkling night, which began with a bucks fizz reception, raised £1,500 via a raffle and featured entertainment by singers Bethany McCrystal, 15, and Sarah Bayliss. ‘This was my fundraising year,’ said Lesley. ‘Altogether we now have £3,402 for the hospice.
