St Helens Soroptimist club enjoyed another fabulous fundraising event for Macmillan, raising £3,000 for the cancer support charity.
Held at Knowsley Hall, seat of the Earl and Countess of Derby, the coffee morning was attended by 250 ladies who enjoyed their coffee while raising much needed awareness and funds for Macmillan locally in St Helens.
Sue Black, organiser of the event, said: ‘A special and most sincere thanks to all who showed their support. Also thanks to Lord and Lady Derby for their kind hospitality in such wonderful surroundings.’
