Guests were treated to an evening of whimsy as St John’s Hospice hosted their annual gala ball at the Globe Arena in Morecambe, with a theme of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The evening featured a delectable four-course meal which included a delicious cheese board from Kirkby Lonsdale based Churchmouse Cheeses as well as entertainment provided by the actors from Attic Door Productions. Chris Pilkington, Community Fundraiser said of the event: 'It has been a pleasure organising tonight. The support from local businesses has been essential in making the event a success.'
The money raised will go towards funding the inpatient ward, day hospice, clinical specialists to continue to care for the community.
