A taste of the James Bond lifestyle was brought to the Globe Arena, Morecambe, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of St John’s Hospice.

The Casino Royale Ball, which raised £14,000 for the Lancaster based hospice, was attended by 234 guests and featured entertainment from The Singing Waiters and band, The Mustard Cutters.

There was a delicious four course meal, before guests had the chance to win a necklace from Banks Lyon Jewellers in the prize draw, and other prizes in the auction and raffle.

Helen Soutar, of St John’s Hospice, said: ‘Without all these generous people and businesses the event simply would not happen. Thank you to everyone who attended and dug deep to raise this outstanding amount of money.’
