St Mary’s Hospice provides specialised supportive and palliative care at a centre just outside Ulverston and, to show their support, friends and families staged a winter ball to raise valuable funds to help with running costs.
The glamorous ball was held at the Abbey House, Barrow-in-Furness. A packed room enjoyed a dinner, dancing and music, helping the hospice to continue looking after local people with life threatening conditions.
