A glittering night of fashion, music and entertainment was had at the Hallmark Hotel, Handforth, in aid of the Christie Hospital.
Stepping Out For The Christie, organised by Jo Brookes and Rachel Mamelok, raised approximately £9,500 through a raffle and auction. Rachel was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2014 and has recently undergone treatment at The Christie. The event, attended by 400 guests, was a way for the pair to give something back to the hospital. Sparkles and canapés were enjoyed on arrival, followed by a fashion show by Bae.Boutique, Rumpus Resort and The Pretty Dress Company.
Jo Brookes, who owns Bae.Boutique, said: ‘It was brilliant night and a massive success. We just wanted to give something back to The Christie as it’s so local and many people have or know someone who has received treatment there.’
