Famous faces from the world of sport took to the green at Pryors Hayes Golf Club, Chester, to raise money on Stick ‘n’ Step’s tenth annual golf day.

Organised by charity ambassador and Sky Sports commentator, Rob Palmer, 172 golf enthusiasts were joined by many ex-football players, including Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler and Manchester United’s Alex Stepney. The event, which raised £24,000 for the charity which supports children and young people with cerebral palsy, was followed by evening entertainment, courtesy of The Voice’s Ally Mac, as well as a charity auction and prizegiving ceremony.

Rob Palmer said: ‘This year’s event has been bigger and more successful than ever. I am so pleased to be able to assist this charity in the amazing work it carries out.’
