Over 250 guests gathered at Stonyhurst College, Clitheroe for a black-tie fundraising event. The college’s ‘Poetry Banquet’ raised over £17,000 for the Stonyhurst Children’s Holiday Week for children with disabilities.

All students in year 12 (known as Poetry at Stonyhurst) were involved in planning and hosting the glittering evening, which featured a jazz band and Great Gatsby style dancers. Headmaster of Stonyhurst, Andrew Johnson, said: ‘I’m always very proud of our pupils on these occasions and they did particularly well this year.’
