Stars of stage and screen attended a glamorous Studio 54 themed fundraising ball at the Piccadilly Mercure Hotel in Manchester.

The event raised money for the Hearts and Minds Challenge charity, which works to help and support families who have children with autism. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception and three course meal followed by entertainment from the 90’s girl band Cleopatra, a Diana Ross tribute act by Jacky Webbe and Footloose.

Ian McGrath, the founder of Hearts and Minds, said: ‘It was a wonderful success. Everybody had a fantastic evening and we’ve managed to raise a great deal of money, for which we are so grateful.’
