As the temperatures rose, The Castle Hotel hosted a buffet and barbecue at its annual Summer Garden Party. Often a concern due to our unpredictable summer, this year the sun shone brightly as jazz artist Zoe Schwartz sang beautifully and the guests enjoyed the atmosphere in the Castle’s tranquil Norman gardens.
Food included everything from lobster and oysters to parfaits, terrines, hot dogs and kebabs, and of course no garden party is complete without an afternoon tea.
General Manager Marc MacCloskey said of the day: “It was a roaring success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
