Members of the Super Car Driver club gathered at a convoy event hosted in Knutsford. Around 30 drivers and their cars, which included models such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Maseratis and Porsches, gathered at the Guy Salmon Land Rover garage before driving in convoy to the Bentley Manchester garage. Drivers then enjoyed breakfast at Bentley. Local celebrity racing driver Oli Webb attended in his Porsche.

Rod Bond, a member of the SCD club, drove his road legal military tank, a Sabre Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked. It served as a command tank in the Royal Dragoons and was also used in combat in Bosnia before being decommissioned in the mid-1990s: ‘We generally get a very good reaction from whoever we come across on our travels. People stop to wave and take photos. Our teenage children often sit in the turret and some passersby think they are driving!’
