Hundreds of people braved the winter weather for the seventh Surrey Life Shooting Star CHASE Carol Concert in the spectacular setting of St Mary’s University College Chapel in Twickenham.
Despite high winds and localised flooding, the church was packed out as the congregation were treated to a range of readings and musical performances from the likes of Teddington Choral Society, the Shooting Star CHASE Scratch Choir and The Singers Soirée.
Afterwards, everyone convened for a post-concert party with wine and canapés and the ever-popular annual raffle.
Surrey Life editor Caroline Harrap said: “It was a fantastic evening, which left everyone feeling very festive, and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for braving the weather to come along.”
Over £4,000 was raised for Shooting Star CHASE, which has children’s hospices in Hampton and Guildford.
