Dear Sussex Life

Sussex Day is going to be BIGGER this year than ever before. Across the County events are being arranged, Town Twinning between the East and West, Town Champions are being signed up. A new Website, Logo and pages across Social Networks have all been sanctioned by East and West Sussex County Councils. So, my Sussex friends go forth and see what YOU can do!

Here at Arundel what started as a Walking Festival for the Arundel area, has, due to demand and people wanting to be part of it, become a Walking Festival across ¾ of West Sussex and not just Sussex Day 16th June but now the weekend leading up to it, 14th and 15th. 39 walks are in place or being created over the 3 days, for all abilities and ages. Walks for the Disabled to ones for the Professional, along the Coast, Across the Downs, Through the Villages ... Something for everyone

Dear Sussex Life, Just delivered “The Joadian Way” Picture/Map and “West Sussex Literary Walks” booklet to the new Arundel Museum - for possible display in next week’s “West Sussex Literary Heroes” Exhibition (March 3rd to 9th).

Apparently, Simon Brett’s talk “West Sussex Literary Diaries” on March 7 at the Museum has sold out! Richard W. Symonds
