Swindon-headquartered Outsource UK, one of the UK’s largest independent IT and engineering staffing businesses, has strengthened its engineering recruitment expertise with the acquisition of PA Recruit Ltd.
PA Recruit specialises in providing high-level engineering resource to the defence and engineering sectors.
Paul Jameson, CEO of Outsource, said: “We are really pleased to be able to bring PA Recruit into the Outsource fold. This move complements Outsource’s existing customer base and provides us with new opportunities for growth. Outsource is a well-respected and expert supplier of IT and engineering contract and permanent staff and we are certain that PA Recruit’s candidates and clients will see real benefits from being part of a larger group”.
It’s business as usual for former owner Peter Ainsworth and his staff, who will remain with the business, although the PA
Recruit name itself will disappear as the business has been rebranded as Outsource.
Peter believes it’s great news and is delighted to have become part of Outsource. “The team at Outsource have years of experience in IT and engineering recruitment and are true specialists in their field”, said Peter. “I know that our clients will really benefit from the breadth of skills this now gives us. It is also great for us to be part of a much bigger company with all the benefits this brings in terms of structure and support. We’ve already seen the addition of an extra resource to help service some of our larger valued customers.”
Paul Jameson added: “Defence and high-end engineering is a strategically important business sector for the company and Outsource will be investing in the Manchester business. We have already added new members of staff to the team so that we can improve the level of service to both our clients and candidates.”
