Over 500 guests enjoyed fine weather and great cricket for the tenth anniversary Lord’s Taverners celebrity cricket match at Cholmondeley Castle, near Malpas.

The event is held courtesy of Lord Cholmondeley and the Dowager Lady Cholmondeley to raise money to help disadvantaged and disabled young children, through sport and recreation. Guests rubbed shoulders with celebrities including cricket hero Mike Gatting, Michael Owen and Nick Hancock. An auction and raffle raised more than £59,000, with prizes including two tickets to the world premiere of the new James Bond film, Spectre .
