The 12th Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival launch party took place at Brown’s Courtroom, Covent Garden.
The cream of UK crime writing was there. Authors included SJ Watson, Vera creator Ann Cleeves bestseller Mark Billingham, Dreda Say Mitchell and Martyn Waites. Title sponsor Simon Theakston, executive director of T&R Theakston was also there.
